Information for Buyers
Viewing
Every sale is open for viewing prior to the auction and we recommend that prospective buyers inspect the goods prior to bidding. Our staff can assist buyers with information on items being offered and advice on auction procedures. Viewing times for the weekly general auction are all day Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-5pm. Viewing times for onsite and specialist auctions will be posted on this site prior to the auction.
Condition
Buyers should carefully inspect items and satisfy themselves as to the condition of the lot as this may not necessarily be stated in the catalogue. All auction items are sold subject to the auction conditions which are displayed in the auction room or available in pdf form below.

Registration
All prospective buyers intending to bid must have a registered buyers number. To register please visit www.interbid.com.au/todds. Registration approval may take up to 24 hours.

Buyers premium
Unless otherwise stated, a buyers premium of 16.5% (including gst) will apply to all auction purchases
Absentee and telephone bidding
Todds Auctions will execute bids on behalf of clients who are unable to attend the auction. There is no charge for this service. Lots will be purchased as reasonably as possible subject to other bids and reserve prices. In the event of identical bids being submitted, the first received bid will take precedence.
Absentee bids should be made on the Absentee Bid Form which is available at our office or to download in pdf format below. You can fill in and sign the absentee form stating lot numbers, item descriptions and maximum bidding price then return to us in person, by email or fax at least 1hr prior to the commencement of the auction.

A telephone bidding system is also available at Todds Auctions. A member of our staff will telephone you during the auction a few lots in advance to enable you to bid. Phone bids are only available on lots valued over $500. Please contact our office to arrange a phone bid.
Payment and delivery
All auction accounts are to be settled within 24hours of the completion of the sale. Unless otherwise arranged all items must be removed from the auction floor within 48 hours. Deliveries of goods can be arranged and is subject to full payment and clearance of any cheques.
Payment can be made by cash, bank cheque, bank transfer, eftpos or most credit cards (2% surcharge applies to credit cards)
